Privacy Policy

We only collect what a reading needs, plus what an account needs:

• Birth date, birth time (optional), birth place and gender.
• Your email address, and a password hash if you sign up with a password.
• The readings generated for you, so you can revisit them.
• Basic technical data such as your browser type and error logs.

We do not ask for, and do not want, financial account numbers, health data or government identifiers.

Your birth details are used for one purpose: generating your Bazi reading and storing it in your account. Your email is used to sign you in and to reply to support requests.

Birth details are sent to our AI analysis provider solely to produce your reading. They are not used to build advertising profiles.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run Ming (hosting, database, authentication and the AI analysis provider), each acting on our instructions.

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your data on the basis of the contract you enter when you request a reading, and on your consent for optional cookies. You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and to object to processing.

Readings and birth details are kept while your account is open so you can read them again. If you delete a report it is removed from your account. Inactive accounts and their data are deleted after 24 months of inactivity. Error logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Email us to permanently delete your account and all birth data within 30 days. Write to support@placeholder.com from the address on your account and we will confirm once it is done.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. We do not run advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics cookies, they will only be set after you press Accept in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind by clearing your browser storage.

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with row-level security, so your reports are readable only by your own account. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

Ming is not intended for children under 13, and accounts require you to be 18+ or to have parental consent.
